Helping people feels oh so good…
While watching opera the other day I heard about this wonderful site to help people out in other countries start up their own businesses, www.Kiva.org. For a donation of just $25 you can help someone in need start up their own business to help them support their families and help them towards economic independence.
Here’s how […]
Vancouver’s Olympic Mascot
Hardly a fashion post, but Vancouver, my city, unveiled its Winter Olympics Mascot for 2010. Designed by Meomi Studio, the mascots include Sumi, Quatchi, Miga (a mix between a bear and killer whale - a SEA BEAR!) and a online only sidekick, Muk Muk, who loves to eat.
Check them out here.
Ballroom Dancing
After jumping on the Dancing with the Stars bandwagon a couple seasons ago, I was inspired to take up ballroom dancing with a few of my close friends. Several classes later, I have to say I completely recommend it!
It’s fun to learn with your friends, a good way to get a little exercise, and can […]
The Zoe Hoe?
Liz Jones of the Daily Mail did a Zoe trash. From rhyming Rachel’s last name, Zoe, with Hoe, to dissing her overkill, overhuge, over everything outfits, accessories and hair. Not to mention her spelling. Excessories anyone?
Gossip Girl
Let’s talk about this new TV series that seems to be taking over, not only the highschool world it was made for, but the twenty something ladies as well. Personally, I’m addicted. If you knew me, you would think “What the Bleep”? I generally avoid the satellite and stick to my mac, besides the exception […]

Deviant Fashion
I am in love with fashion right now. Gucci is running a fragrance ad for Gucci by Gucci that is directed by David Lynch. It features beautiful women dancing to Blondie, Heart of Glass (perfection!). The visuals make the song seem psychedelic.
The deviant perspective that designers are showing in their fashions leave […]
Style Picks
According to Kate Lanphear from a recent Refinery29 interview, these Alternative Apparel Burnout T shirts are to die for. I’ve had to get my hands on them though.

Disclaimer: The following post will be very self-centered.
I’m so proud to say that I am a finalist in the Seventeen Magazine Reader Model Contest! I have always wanted to be a model, and this is really a dream come true opportunity for me. I was selected as one of 17 finalists out of thousands of […]
Winter Cheer UP
Although Winter isn’t officially here until December 22nd, it does like to make an early appearance. Snowmen, tobogganing, holiday parties, ice skating and even eggnog are all great things to enjoy in the cold months to come. White outs, icy driveways, shoveling and scraping your windows for what seems like hours on the other hand, […]
