Style Icon Series: her clothes and my closet need to meet…

Last night we chowed down on Halloween goodies and watched Licence to Wed. Not the best movie I’ve ever seen but it was sweet, and worked well with snuggling with my hubby with loads of mini chocolate bars! Through the film, I found myself gasping with mini bursts of excitement, not due to the script or the sugar rush, but rather Sadie’s (Mandy Moore’s character) amazing wardrobe. Scene after scene she wore the best outfits. I thought back to other Mandy Moore movies I’ve seen recently and have decided she is officially my style icon. If you haven’t seen Because I Said So, you must rent it. It’s funny and the perfect chick flick. The cakes that appear throughout look absolutely delish, as well as Milly’s (Mandy Moore) main man. The yummiest part though has to be her outfits, great screened t’s, jeans, dresses, blouses, it goes on and on…. Comfy things that were unique in a nice shabby chic kinda way. Love it! So it’s really quite simple, Mandy needs to have some Gentle Fawn in her wardrobe and I need her wardrobe in my closet. It just works.
