While watching opera the other day I heard about this wonderful site to help people out in other countries start up their own businesses, www.Kiva.org. For a donation of just $25 you can help someone in need start up their own business to help them support their families and help them towards economic independence.
Here’s how it works: Log on to www.kiva.org and browse thru the many listings of people looking for your help. Make a decision and send your payment. Here’s the fun part, you can actually keep in contact with the person that you chose to help, either thru the website or in your own personal inbox. Now, because these are loans, you will get paid back by your business partner. When you receive your loan back, you can then go on to help another person to fulfill their dreams. For only $25 dollars you can help save a family and make someone feel really good about themselves, by doing that, I bet you’ll have that warm fuzzy feeling as well.
