The designer of Covet, Tara St James, has long been a pioneer of fashion with an edge, and the last few seasons, she has been spending a lot of time on introducing a more sustainable way of dressing to one of the most fickle industries in the world - fashion.

Covet currently uses organic material for all knitwear, including bamboo, modal, soybean blends and silk. To Covet, the choice was simple - to be more accountable with what you do. In recent months, we have seen a lot of press covering eco-friendly issues, and how we should do our part in protecting the one earth that we live in. And Covet has done just that, to be accountable for they do, and be responsible in your way of living.

Gone is the stigma of “hemp clothing”, Covet uses inventive fabrics, dyes, to create fashion that does not compromise its style, and also pioneers a way for the rest of the industry in the possibility of having both great design and sustainability.

At Project, we had seen first hand at their booth - packed, respected, and the clothes were simply that, amazing.
