Have you ever wondered what’s in your personal care products, and how good they actually are for you? Skin Deep is a cosmetic safety database that rates the hazard levels of 25,000 personal care products. The rating system is from 1 - 10, 1 being low, and 10 being high. You can search based on product type, or you can type in a brand name and view a huge lists of their products. Be warned, once you log on, it’s hard to log off. You’lll find some pretty amazing things out. “Due to gaping loopholes in federal law, companies can put virtually any ingredient into personal care products. Even worse, the government does not require pre-market safety tests for any of them”. Make sure your aware of what you put on your body, it deserves respect.
