With summer season (and weather) coming fast and furious, its time to whip out those beautiful sunglasses that have been hidden away in your bag, drawers, under your bed, and other miscellaneous compartments!! But in case you are a bit out of the loop with whats hot this season, here are some key trends for this seasons sunglasses:
Vintage is still kicking it full force and its definitely bringing back all of its friends to come play !! Key styles to keep an eye out for are: over-sized, vintage frames from Wayfarer’s to Cat-Eye’s, and every kind of wash possible from clear crystal acetate to bright and bold neon colors! This year is all about taking a step outside of the ordinaire and letting loose!
If you don’t dig the vintage look keep in mind that Shields and Aviators are still kickin’ around and definitely look better than ever! Key thing here is BIG. Shields and Aviators are definitely increasing in size to give off that futuristic techno look.
So keep in mind when shopping for sunglasses or just pondering your collection that bigger is better, vintage is new and there are no limits when it comes to colors! AND, if you find yourself saying “those are too crazy…” then you better robokop those shades, because they will definitely be a hit, because this year it is all about being crazy (when it comes to sunglasses) !
